BRIEF INFO ON TEITHADÔR
Terrain: In the middle of Teihadôr lies the huge lake of Valkulatar. From the lake flows many rivers and streams to the lower land to the west where they merge with The Great Sea. It is mountaineous landscape where strong winds roam, especially to the north where it is also impossible to travel by any means.
Borders: To the east lies the legendary realm of the wizards Taragdôr and beyond the mountains to the south lies the great kingdom of Calendôr. From the awesome lake of Valkulatar many rivers and streams run to the west to the Great Sea and to the north is said lie what is called The End Of The World.
Goverment: The Warlords of Teithadôr are all under the rule of The King who travels around the country to maintain the kingdom. The power of the king is his knowledge and lore, his wealth and the royal army of Huscarles which is made of the second sons of the different fiefs.

The Social Order of Teithadôr
The Teithadôrian society is organized in three different descents. Each decents have different rules and people from lower descents must be humble to their superior decents.

Tinget - The Place Of Council
Tinge is a court which lies in every town or village. Here all problems and feuds is being discussed and solved. Those who may participate in the discussion and make agreements to a solution is The Warlords and their oldest sons. Often the atmosphere of the debate becomes heated and the participants is urged to what the Teithadôrians call Holmgang (a duel).

The King - Class A
& The Huscarls - Class B

The King is not superior but equal to the Warlords. His power lies in his Huscarls, which is an army of The Warlords' second eldest sons. To attack The King is the same as attacking his huscarls, and thereby all of The Warlords.
The King's forstress lies in the town of Brostad, but he seldom dwelling there. For he is constantly travelling seeking council from Warlord to Warlord, discussing among other subjects, matters of foreign affairs. The King is chosen among The Warlords.

The Warlord Descent - Class B
The Warlord is the leading member of a family. One or more families dwell and rule each village or town. The game of power is a constant contest of cunning among the Warlords especially within the villages.

The Commoner Descent - Class C
This descent is the lowest of the free and equal men. The struggle for power is not as important as it is for the warlords but every man still is bound to protect his honour and regain possibly lost hounour. The commoner decent are mostly farmers, fishers and crafters.

The Thral Descent - Class D
This descent is people without freedom. They belong to either Warlords or Commoners. They are doing the hardest work and is even sometimes sacrifised at the order and name of a Warlord.
