These are the realms of man in the vast sea of elven forest. They are ruled by a king or a lord with a druid as councilor. The Druid is the spiritual leaders of the Pan'ish Dualism and have a great lore of the spirits of the forest. These lands vary very much in size and power, but the danger of road transportation restrains communication over long distances so they seldom grow very large.

BRIEF INFO ON THE PAN'ISH KINGDOMS
Size: The size and power vary from kingdom to kingdom, but only very few rulers of Taur Beleg are as powerful as a member of the High Council of Calendôr.
Terrain: As the Pan'ish Kingdoms lie in Taur Beleg, forest is most common, though the few kingdoms which lie at the foot of Mountain Isle.
Goverment: The Pan'ish Kingdoms are ruled feudally heavily influenced by the ruler's relations concerning family and descend.
Main Religions: The Pan'ish Dualism
Internal Relations: Because of the size of the these realms, no larger scale schemes are made. And it is more typical just to it, man to man.
External Relations: The one thing there is not present between the realms of Pan is peace. They make war on eachother very often. Duels or councils are typical but battle is not uncommon.

The Social Order of The Pan'ish Kingdoms

Because of the great danger and rare resources in Taur Beleg, towns and villages are not often seen spread throughout the land. Instead the people the Kings, Druids and Thegns, dwell in larger or smaller estates. Here the Commoners also live as servants for the given noble. Only few live outside these estates, and they are often criminals, heretics or in other ways expelled. Also traders, bards, and other travellers can be seen on the roads and trails.

Kings - Class A
The kings they all base their power on soldiers and warfare. Most of the time they are warriors themselves and they rule larger and more powerful realms than the druids, but their reigns seldom last very long as another warrior, often from their own rows or another warlord kill them in battle or in duel.

Druids - Class B
If a druid is ruler in a Pan'ish realm, his wisdom and divine contact is his base of power. Ruling druids often "udnævner" one of their knights to be military leader and it can often cause problems if the knight is not trustworthy.

Thegns - Class C
These folk are the protectors and owners lesser estates in a given Pan'ish realm. It is among the nobles the king is elected. So if the nobles are unsatisfied with the current king, they can gather for a council to elect a new king.

Commoners - Class D
These are mostly woocutters, sawmillers and other woodcrafters. Also they are herders of cattle, pigs and sheep.

The History of The Pan'ish Kingdoms
The myths tell that along time ago Owlgoll the Druid claimed to have seen Pan and The Unnamed god on that very spot. Them Caras Pan was founded (See details in The History of Caras Pan).

Caras Pan, the city and the kingdom
The City
Though it is seldom seen in Taur Beleg that humans dwell in large cities, Caras Pan is the exception that proves the rule. It lies at the shores of The Taur Beleg Bay and surrounded by wood. The only large trading route is by sea from the town of Hir, lying in the southern gap of The Taur Beleg Bay. That is also the reason why almost every building is made of wood, why tools and weapons of metal are very expensive.

The Legend of Caras Pan Ward
The legend tells that through the ward of Pan protects the temple, and if one cuts the smallest scratch just touches it with the flame from a candle, he will be struck by a lightning before the sun sets the next time.

The Yearly Pan Celebration
Once a year, in the third and last month of the summer, all the Pan'ish Kingdoms makes a great celebration of Pan. All the kings from the different realms travel, sometimes, a long way to get Caras Pan to sacrifice and feast in the name of Pan. As said before the Pan'ish Kingdoms constantly make war on eachother, but in this yearly event everbody bury the hachet for a time, to celebrate Pan.

THE BRIEF HISTORY OF CARAS PAN

Lumens
lu-mens, [] n, old common, river-human.
Hvis were the first land of men near Mountain Isle. The name Lumens was given to the area because gathering of humans were centred at the shores of the river, which also was named after them, and is still called River Lumens. The Kingdoms of Lumens is now ruled by a king who dwells in his castle in the rich and beautiful trading town of Graabjerg.

Graabjerg
This town is the probably the largest trading post on the Circle Road. It is the capital of Lumens, and the count lives on his castle on top of the city. Originally Graabjerg was built around the creek of Watohoff, meaning "raised water". But as humans began dwelling around Mountain Isle, mining the metal, the trade developed. There was no more place, so houses were built at the foot of the hill of rock in which Watohoff lay, at the shores of the River Lumens.

Nororbereg
nororbereg, n, old common, north of the mountains
A little kingdoms just north of The Mountain Isle, got weaker when the king, Paul of Hark was killed by a lightning strike lying sleeping in his tower. It was once rich by the trading of Circle Road, but as the Wood Elves of Taur Thargalas let fewer and fewer travellers though their barriers, people tended to travel south of Mountains Isle, and few now visit the once glorious inn of "The Golden Sheep".

The Mysterious Lake Bakad
But the many fish of Lake Bakad has always been connected with the myth of the hidden island in the middle of the lake. Everybody in Bakad knows the myth, but no-one have ever seen this island.
