Lanc; Sindarin bald, naked.
South of the great Long Lake lies the barony of Lanc. The present rulers is not the baron but the Council of Culost Sain. They claimed rule when the barony was overrun by a huge horde of orcs who slayed the baron and his nobles. The council from Culost Sain rule the land from Bergen Wald near the mountains, because the orcs dare not venture there. The rest of the bare hills and plains of Lanc are but a battlefield of bloodshed and fire.

Because of the invasion of The Horde, anarchy rules the most of this land. But in the forest of Bergen Wald lies the great fortress of Culost Sain; home of The Order Of The Flame. |

CULOST-SAIN
When Lanc was first invaded by the orcs from the east a small settlement of strange folk began to gather the dwelling people around the forests of Bergen Wald where the orcs did not venture. These were the refounders of the old Taal Order; The Order Of The Flame.
Here they started a new center of power to keep the naked hills and plains of Lanc to the Calendôrians and not let it fall into the hands of The Horde.
As The Horde sweeps through Lanc the rule of Culost-Sain keeps the control using rangers of Bergen Wald and the wisdom of Taal.

VEDEL
As the center of the markets of the three fiefs of Lanc, Middle Land and Fruensland Vedel is one of the busiest trading towns of Calendôr. The location at the western end of Long Lake makes the way to Vedel very easy for merchants as for soldiers. That also means that if Vedel falls into the hands of The Horde it can be fatal for all of Calendôr.

THE HIGH HILL INN
After the orc invasion of Lanc and the slaughter of the Lancian Nobles the town around the Castle on The High Hill was burned to the ground. The nobles of the castle fled in disgrace, and the owner of the inn took over the rule in alliance with the Warriors of The Singing Spear, a group of mercenaries from Western Shore. Their leader Frank wielder of The Singing Spear controls the watch of the castle by ordering people shelter and fortification if they fight at the walls.
"And it was Myrian from the under trees beyond the mountains that claimed the head of Frank with the Singing Spear, as the heretic he was. A spoiler of the name of The Lady of The Calendorian Sun, Myrmidia"
